As a child, Devika Kulkarni could be found coloring on white walls and jumping in puddles. As a grownup, she got used to following rules until she discovered that it’s the not-knowing, the second guessing, and the constant questioning that encourages growth. Today, she embraces childlike imagination and adult sensibility to guide her creative process. Devika Kulkarni is a graphic designer whose work is defined by curiosity, humor and a love for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. She believes that everyone has the potential to achieve greatness and is dedicated to transforming lives, mindsets and design processes through her creative work.

By seamlessly blending innovation with storytelling, Devika has helped craft identities for a wide range of wellness and lifestyle brands. Her passion for branding and simplifying complex systems also led her to write and illustrate two children’s books: A Twinkling Memory and The Children’s Object Book.

She is currently pursuing an MFA in Graphic Design and Visual Experience at SCAD and hopes to inspire other young designers to embrace their creativity and become forces for positive change in their own communities.

Nothing in Elizabeth Adams’ tech background prepared her for the oversexualized images that were the result of a simple request using artificial intelligence (AI). With empathy and advocacy as cornerstones of her existence, she is on a quest to make sure that communities of color and other vulnerable populations are represented and represented appropriately by AI.

Elizabeth M. Adams is a respected AI influencer who has been recognized by Forbes as one of “15 AI Ethics Leaders Showing The World The Way Of The Future.” She has studied the science of business and the influences of technology on society for more than two decades while leading large-scale technology initiatives for Fortune 500 companies and government organizations. As a scholar-practitioner, she developed her expertise working with tech and non-tech leaders, creating alliances that translate theory into results. Her commitment to inclusivity and ethical tech is reflected in her work driving broader employee stakeholder engagement. Currently pursuing a doctorate in Leadership of Responsible AI, her research focuses on how leaders can engage employees, particularly those exposed to AI harm. Her goal is to encourage individuals who have traditionally been excluded from the AI landscape to become active participants in building the future of AI.

Many of her sculptures are currently hosting life in waterways across the Southeast. Her art helps others connect with the ocean and to each other.

A ceramic-based sculptor who lives and works in Savannah, Georgia, Nina Samuels uses wild clay and other natural materials she has foraged across the Southeast to create original work inspired by the land, sea and fauna of the natural world. Her work has been exhibited in more than 30 art galleries across the United States. Her most recent project was a collaborative research project with the biology and fine arts departments at Georgia Southern University and was supported by the Georgia Sea Grant and the Henry David Thoreau Foundation.

As a child, drawing was as natural to Brittany Curry as breathing. When she went to college, she shut off her artistic side and then entered the professional world of advocacy and inclusion for people with developmental disabilities. An encounter at a conference opened her eyes to the ways in which her doodles could be life changing for those she was working with and soon let the power of image do the talking.

Brittany Curry is a native of Savannah, Georgia and the owner of InkyBrittany. As a Graphic Recorder and Facilitator, she documents meetings and events through live note taking using a combination of text and large-scale visual imagery. In 2017, Brittany joined the International Forum of Visual Practitioners and was also named to Georgia Trend’s annual 40 Under 40 list of rising entrepreneurs and innovators statewide. She currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Chatham-Savannah Citizen Advocacy and is a trained moderator in public deliberation who has worked with the Kettering Foundation and The National Issues Forums.

Tegan Miller and Assaf Gleizner are acclaimed music professionals who relocated from New York City to Savannah, Georgia. A multi-genre soprano, Tegan has been fortunate enough to sing all over the world — from Carnegie Hall to the Vatican. She has been directing choirs and teaching voice lessons for more than 15 years and is passionate about student-led science-driven, journey-focused singing. Tegan is the founder of MTC Vocal Academy, a boutique voice studio in Savannah, and the new Spectra Choir, a feminist treble choir.

Born and raised in Israel, GRAMMY-nominated Assaf has been working as a composer, music director, orchestrator/arranger and pianist in New York City and around the world for the past 15 years. His most notable projects include composing and orchestrating the off-Broadway and international tour hits “The Office! the Musical Parody” and “FRIENDS! the Musical Parody” as well as orchestrating and arranging Stephen Schwartz’s 70th birthday concert at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre.

Together, they own and operate the highly successful company Isreally Hummus in Savannah.
