Tricia Veldman shares life lessons learned during the past year when her mother’s doctors declared her medical condition as “terminal” and gave her only months to live. Tricia ultimately realized that “we’re all terminal,” which changed the way she lives her life. She took up Latin dancing and faced her fears, including giving this talk.

Tricia Veldman works as a speech coach with New York and Georgia Speech Coaching, teaching public speaking, speaking voice enhancement, accent modification and speech-language pathology. Originally from Florida, she spent some time exploring Europe and learning Italian before pursuing her master’s degree at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. She moved to Savannah, Georgia in 2018 and has never looked back. A writer at heart, she recently began a blog and YouTube channel for spoken word poetry and has a couple of children’s books in the works. Tricia is passionate about inspiring others to live full, fun and fearless lives aligned with their highest calling.
