Kimberly Waller
Kimberly Waller joined United Way of the Coastal Empire (UWCE) in June 2024 as President and CEO. In this role, she leads the organization in driving meaningful community change by leveraging partnerships, resources, and data to address the region’s most pressing needs. Kimberly works to advance UWCE’s mission to improve lives by expanding access to vital services, strengthening collaboration among community partners, and supporting sustainable growth across the Coastal Empire.
Prior to joining UWCE, Kimberly served as an appointee in Washington, D.C., where she led a federal bureau within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services focused on improving the economic and social well-being of children, youth, families, and communities.
Kimberly’s career includes serving as Senior Policy Advisor to the Mayor of the District of Columbia on the Interagency Council on Homelessness and working as an attorney with a legal aid nonprofit focused on ensuring children and families have stability, health, and access to education. She began her career in the United States Senate advising on health and human services policy.
She holds a law degree and a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh.
