Kate Blair
Kate Blair is the Executive Director of Brightside Child & Family Advocacy, where she has helped transform a local CASA program into a growing organization serving children in foster care, families working toward reunification, and youth aging out of the system.
Her work centers on trauma-informed innovation, strong partnerships with juvenile court and child welfare leaders, and building pathways to housing, education, and employment for young people. She is especially passionate about elevating the voices of young people who have experienced foster care and challenging our community to rethink how they show up for vulnerable children.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Kate earned her degree in Communications from Armstrong Atlantic State University. More than twenty years ago, she and her husband visited Savannah once, fell in love with the city, and decided to make it home — proof that sometimes the best life decisions are the slightly impulsive ones. Married for over two decades and the mom of two teenage boys, she spends her off-hours binging reality TV, planning her next trip, and enjoying good wine with great friends.
