										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Kathleen Benton is the President and CEO of Hospice Savannah, Inc. and the former Director of Ethics and Palliative Care at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital. Born and raised on Isle of Hope, she has been a passionate healthcare advocate her entire life, beginning when her brother Daniel was born with Proteus Syndrome. She is the author of <em>Daniel’s World</em>, a children’s book that focuses on the acceptance of kids with disabilities, and <em>The Skill of End-of-Life Communication for Clinicians</em>. She earned a Ph.D. in Public Health Leadership from Georgia Southern University.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Candace Hardnett, a former personal trainer and cosmetologist, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks. She served in the military for five years and eventually moved to Savannah with her wife, Erika. With a B.S. in Religion from Liberty University, she founded Agape Empowerment Ministries, Savannah’s first non-denominational Christian affirming congregation. An LGBTQ advocate and mother of three daughters, she is currently pursuing her Master of Divinity degree.</p>

With two master’s degrees, one in Elementary Education and another in Counseling and Development, he serves as a Middle School Counselor, English Teacher and Head Middle School Football Coach at Savannah Country Day School. As the school’s Cultural Competency and Inclusion Coordinator, he takes great pride in educating Savannah’s youth and preparing them for a successful future. He has also worked as a corporate trainer for Starbucks, McDonald’s and other companies.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>JinHi Soucy Rand was born in Seoul, Korea to a South Korean mother and an American father and has lived in four countries, three continents and seven states. At the age of 14, she lost her left leg to bone cancer and is currently battling advanced stage lung cancer. She was the founder and director of Muse Arts Warehouse, a nonprofit multi-purpose community arts venue in Savannah that provided an affordable and accessible space for performance arts until it closed in 2017. Today, she is a freelance actor, director and producer training to participate in the adventure of a lifetime with the Project Athena Foundation next fall.</p>
