Bada$$ Balance – The Art of Receiving
Prior to being diagnosed with cancer, Amy Capello wore her independence as a badge of honor. Navigating treatment during COVID meant even her mom could not be physically in the room with her. Her family, friends, and colleagues found other ways to support her which forced her to let go of her “toxic independence.” Amy encourages us to gratefully receive – rather than pushing back – when others show kindness.
Amy Capello is a Life Balance Strategist and Certified Life Coach, helping people create whole-life balance and reclaim their joy. She faced cancer on her journey and has navigated being a single mom. Though she was coaching before her cancer diagnosis, she now lives life with a renewed sense of intention and urgency. Amy is volunteering with Little Pink Houses of Hope to bring a free retreat for breast cancer patients and their families to Tybee Island, Georgia this fall. She loves international traveling, volunteering with sea turtles and spending time with her family.
